Biodynamic Massage
Biodynamic massage blends biodynamic cranial therapy and therapeutic massage. The practitioner massages the connective tissues while facilitating the expression of quietude within the craniosacral system. The amount of pressure, direction of movement and surface area of contact during massage are modified in response to the client's craniosacral system. This mobilizes the inherent healing forces within the cranial system to address a wide variety of issues.
A skilled practitioner of biodynamic massage can feel or palpate the subtle changes in muscle, bone, and other connective tissue textures which occur during a session. By following these emerging changes, the practitioner is lead to the source of the issue presenting, where the potential for long term healing abides.
Biodynamic massage can help restore the cranial rhythm to affected areas so that the body's primary self-healing mechanism is online and functioning. It honors the client's inherent plan for self healing while deeply nurturing both the physical and subtler bodies.
Todd began developing Biodynamic Massage in 1994. He works with apprentices and teaches workshops to help share this highly effective approach with a greater number of people. As his schedule often fills months in advance, he would be happy to refer you to Beth John, Donna Oefinger and Angela Severson to receive more timely treatment as needed.
