Qigong Classes
Todd presents the Tendon Changing Classic of the JinJing Qigong system. This form is one of the most famous since it alters the connective tissues of the physical body. It includes 14 individual physical movements, coordinated with intensive breathwork, to help gradually refine the body’s connective tissues into a vastly stronger and exquisitely supple container for the organs, bones and soul.
This class is appropriate for those with previous experience with qigong forms who wish to challenge their concentration and stamina. Yoga students who can sustain their standing poses, and who have a moderate amount of breath awareness would also transition easily into this class. The rewards of consistent practice will be immeasurable health and a profoundly different experience of daily life. Those people living with chronic musculo-skeletal problems who can stand and move for some period of time with relative comfort will receive much from this class and their regular practice.
Todd Jackson has studied the JinJing Gong system through Bill Frazier since 1999. He has also received the blessings of the lineage holder to teach this form. His own experiences of personal and physical transformation from practicing this particular form have compelled him to share these powerful self-healing practices with others. Todd brings to class the wisdom culled from his full time yoga teaching and bodywork practices to compliment his qigong instruction. He is known for his compassionate teaching presence, rigorous training and commitment to helping others heal themselves.
